Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of TruHub, the practice management software operated by TruAccounts Bookkeeping and Accounting Services.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern access to and use of TruHub, the practice management software operated by TruAccounts Bookkeeping and Accounting Services (ABN 67 683 428 554) ("we", "us", "our").

TruHub is internal software used by us to manage bookkeeping and accounting work for our clients. Access is provided to our authorised personnel, and to clients who are granted limited access to a client portal for the purpose of exchanging documents and viewing their own records.

By accessing TruHub you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not access the software.

2. Access and accounts

Access is by invitation only. There is no public registration.

You must keep your access credentials secure and must not share them. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or revoke access at any time, including where access is no longer required or where these terms have been breached.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • access or attempt to access data belonging to another client;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security of the software;
  • use the software to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material;
  • copy, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the software; or
  • use automated means to extract data from the software without our written permission.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of the information you provide to us. We use it to deliver our services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party services

TruHub integrates with third-party accounting platforms, including QuickBooks Online. Where such an integration is active, information relating to your engagement may be transferred to that platform.

Those platforms are operated independently of us and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, security, or conduct.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the software available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The software may be unavailable during maintenance, or due to circumstances outside our control.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the software remain ours. Access to the software does not transfer any ownership, and grants only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use it for its intended purpose.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided on an "as is" basis, and we exclude all warranties not expressly stated. Our liability for any claim arising from your use of the software is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, or data.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published at this address, and the "last updated" date reflects the most recent change.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
